Rutland South Supervisory Union (Mill River UHS, Shrewsbury,
Clarendon, Wallingford Elementary Schools) is seeking four dynamic
Afterschool Program Coordinators to serve students at four separate
school sites during the 2011-2012 academic year. All positions will
report to the RSSU Director of Afterschool Programs, and be
responsible for:
* Coordinating the development and implementation of a site-based
program to feature high quality academic and enrichment components;
* Implementing all applicable district, agency, and 21st CCLC
grant policies and regulations;
* Developing and facilitating partnerships with appropriate
agencies and organizations in the region that provide services to
youth and families;
* Assisting in the development of procedures and policies for operation;
* Establishing and maintaining communication with the school
staff of their respective site about student needs and general aspects
of the afterschool program;
* Maintaining all records required for program administration and
evaluation;
* Performing other associated duties as assigned.
College degree and three years experience in education or related
field required, record of success in working with youth essential. All
positions are 20 hours maximum per week, 36 weeks per year.
