ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Tetra Tech ARD (http://www.ardinc.com/) has an immediate home office staff opening for an Assistant Project Manager.  This person will support the administration and management of US government funded foreign assistance programs, worldwide.   This is a full-time position that is based in Tetra Tech ARD's home office in Burlington, Vermont.

Responsibilities:
* Provide project managers with general administration and management of overseas projects
* Assist consultant mobilization and support
* Contribute to budget monitoring and financial management
* Maintain and update project files and Tetra Tech ARD Information System records
* Support personnel recruitment for ongoing projects
* Facilitate communications with subcontractors and partners

Essential Qualifications:
* BA/BS required preferably with academic interests in international development/management, and/or business and contract administration.
* High level proficiency in MS Excel including formula utilization required.
* Prior experience with budget development and budget administration preferred.
* Advanced to fluent speaking and reading proficiency in a foreign language (Spanish, French, Arabic) preferred.
* Previous experience with development projects or overseas experience in a developing country context highly desired.
* Must possess effective time management skills, ability to multi-task, and flexibility to respond to changing work priorities.
* Excellent communication skills including good listening skills and good phone manner.
* Must be extremely dependable, trustworthy, and flexible.
* High level proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Project) required.
* High level proficiency in data entry and database management.
* Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player.
* Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes intense work environment.
* U.S. citizenship or a valid U.S. work permit is mandatory.
