Technical Support Representative.
Rutland Vermont based software company, specializing in retail point-of-sale software, is looking for a part time Technical Support Representative. Responsibilities will include helping customers with technical support issues, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, software testing, order fulfillment, and sales support.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical person who is comfortable talking with customers over the telephone and with managing email conversations. Candidates should be proficient with Windows-based operating systems and have good working knowledge of drivers, file systems, networking, firewalls, hardware, USB devices, etc. Preferred candidates will have a computer sciences degree (or minor). Retail experience is a plus.
