IHS Journalism Internship Program
Paid internships for talented writers who support free markets and individual rights. Opportunities available at investigative news organizations, major media networks, newspapers, and online-only news sites. Applicants may also apply for funding for internships secured on their own. Program includes a stipend, a housing and travel allowance, and a seminar on career skills and freedom of the press. Spring, summer, and fall internships. Apply by November 15 for spring and by January 31 for summer.
Charles Koch Summer Fellow Program
Public policy internships at more than 100 organizations located across the US, with a federal, state, or single issue policy focus. The comprehensive summer program includes two career workshops in Washington, DC, and weekly lectures by academics and policy professionals. Interns receive guidance on writing policy pieces, sharpening their resumes, and interviewing. A stipend and housing allowance is included. Apply by January 31.
Graduate and Undergraduate Studies
Humane Studies Fellowships are awards of up to $15,000 for graduate students and outstanding undergraduates whose academic research advances a free society. Full-time students studying at universities worldwide, and from all disciplines, are eligible. Select winners and finalists present their work at the IHS annual research colloquium. Apply by December 31.

Internships & Scholarship Applications Available
Dear Student Coordinator,
The Institute for Humane Studies offers scholarships of up to $15,000 and paid public policy and journalism internships for students and recent graduates who support individual liberty, free markets, and peace.
Our journalism internship program places students at news organizations, such as The Daily Caller and MSNBC. Through our public policy internship program, students can gain experience with the legislative process and influencing policy. All interns receive a stipend plus housing and travel assistance and receive career skills training.
The Humane Studies Fellowship is perfect for undergraduate students applying for graduate school or current graduate students and is open to full-time students of any major.
